Stats and capabilities clearly show that: the Emperor Dragons can be spellcasters. Just because the High Elves might not have a term for the oldest of the Star Dragons it doesn't mean that they are the same thing. The stats is entirely meaningless, since all they showcase is that Dragons can grow exceptionally powerful (which we already knew), and that the Star Dragons in the Old World are exceptionally old. Indraugnir, the mount of Aenarion, the greatest of all Dragons after Kalgalanos the Black, First son of Draugnir was the oldest of all Dragons, and he was only refered to as a Star Dragon.
